Recent studies reveal a significant uptick in global anxiety and depression, initially exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, followed by economic uncertainties, too much social isolation, war and the social unrest we’re seeing. The World Health Organization reports that the prevalence of these mental health conditions has surged by 25% and we can bet it’s gone up in recent months. This rise highlights an urgent need for effective coping strategies and community support to maintain our mental well-being.

Now, more than ever, self-care is not a luxury but a necessity for our mental health. Simple practices like mindful breathing, regular exercise, and maintaining a balanced diet are not just beneficial; they’re essential for keeping our nervous system in check.
