3 Mindful Things to Do When You Eat

People often ask me, when is the best time to bring mindfulness into your day and aside from saying, “anytime,” a great way to integrate mindfulness is with something we all have to do – eat!

It’s wonderful to bring mindfulness to eating, not only can this help us have a better relationship with food, but it can help us appreciate, savor and bring a whole lot more enjoyment to it.

    Thanks for sharing these tips. Need to practice mindfulness while eating more often and these tips will really come in handy.

    Coming from a family of 7 kids, I had to eat quickly to get seconds. We never had leftover, Unless my mother cooked liver. This is a good way to slow my eating and enjoy it more! Thank you for sharing this mindful moment with us!

    What a wonderful way to eat! I come from a a family of 7 kids. If you did not eat quickly–you never got seconds. Now that I don’t have to fight for a meal, I will take your advice! Thank you for sharing this mindful moment!

    Loved the video. It was short and I have 3 things to focus on when I’m preparing to eat. The first 2 I have done. The third is new. To take a moment to appreciate all that took place in order for this meal to come to my table. Thank you.

    it would be helpful to have text, as the video jerks and stalls and finally never recovers, perhaps not downloaded completely.
