It’s ready!!!

I’ve recently received the final version of my newest BOOK from my publisher. It’s been a major LABOR OF LOVE and now it’s all READY to go. I couldn’t be happier about how it turned out and I’m celebrating… and I want to share some of the highlights of it with you.

I also want to invite you to the launch celebration – it’s all in the video!

Let me know what you think and also if you want to be part of my book release team.

    Elisha,
First of all congratulations on your book , a labor of love is always so worth it ! I think , like others have suggested is a Facebook marketing campaign . I also think that giving away some to supporters so word of mouth will travel as people read it . The other venue would be Dr’s offices. I feel like we as a country need something so positive snd empowering ! I am a nurse and I deal with so many physically broken people who are also emotionally broken as well . Many people could benefit from your labor of love . Blessings to you, Susie

    Hi,
I have heard you speak at insight LA and am familiar with your first book and love your daily emails. I would recommend that you do a 6-8 week course with the theme being uncovering happiness. People would be reading the book while in the class, similar to an MBSR class. Ideally you would be teaching it. I would sign up for this class as long as it wasn’t in the later evening or early am. I know many people that would probably be interested in going.

Hi Cara, thank you for this. I’ve lead two courses at ILA on Uncovering Happiness in the last year, but the book hadn’t even been out yet. Looking forward to leading it with the book out now. We also just opened The Center for Mindful Living in West LA where the course will be offered too (Website still under development, but center open). Warmly, Elisha

    Hi,

Congratulations, I’m excited to hear about your new book! First of all I love the way you are tackling this task by going public. Like Elaine said in one of the posts above using social media like blogs, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube is a good way to spread the word. Could broadcasting on platforms like audiodharma might be an idea too? (not sure about that) Maybe you could also do a “certain amount of time”-program like your 28 days Mindful adventure? I took part in it and have been finding it very useful. 🙂 Can’t give you more practical ideas as I live in Germany…
    Good luck with the launch!

Hi Elisha, love your books and the emails have been brilliant. I’d be very happy to post something on my Facebook page. Will the book be available in the UK? I’m looking forward to reading it x

Thank you Val, Yes! It will be available in the UK. In fact, the cover that you’ll see on all the book sites came from the UK cover. Let me know when you post :). In gratitude, Elisha

    Elisha,
I love your passion for the topic and your wish to create a ripple effect. One idea I had as you were inviting offers for marketing was to introduce it into the medical health professional’s hands. People seek medical care for bodily symptoms that are sometimes manifested in their need for “connection”-to self, body, mind, spirit. This book’s contents may be a missing prescription towards their health and well-being journey. Following what the “doctor says” is very powerful for patients and if physicians are recommending your resources, patients will truly benefit in a more holistic manner.

    Hi Elisha-
I recently discovered “Mindful Solutions for Stress, Anxiety and Depression.” I wish I had the words to fully express how much this has helped me over the last few months. I have the Audio book and the ebook. In the last couple of months, I have lost a parent very suddenly, had some changes at work, financial stress and I am moving. Before I started listening to your books, my Dr. had prescribed Xanax to help with my anxiety attacks. In the last six-eight weeks, I have not needed to take it. I have been practicing mindfulness techniques and have talked myself down from several panic attacks.

I am excited to hear about your new book. I can’t wait to read it and spread the word. Here is an idea to help launch “Uncovering Happiness:” A facebook and/or blog giveaway. For example: On facebook, have people write a comment about how they have been impacted by a book you wrote or have them like the page dedicated to your new book. Send an email to let people know about the contest. The names of people that comment (or like) on that day during a specific time frame go into a hat and one (or more) lucky winner(s) gets a free book. As people like the page, their friends will see it & many will investigate. Who doesn’t love a free book? Just a thought…

Thank you for your kind words Amy and know it was your efforts that created that change in you!

What a great idea, I look forward to putting something like this in place.

      Warmly,

      Elisha

    Elisha,
You are awesome! So enjoyed being with you in Virginia recently. I think you should be featured on Dr. Oz! Also get to the counseling community ACA. Duke, UVA and other universities promoting mindfulness would love to have this book on the shelf! Congratulations! I can’t wait to receive my copy!
    Many More Blessings!

    Hi Elisha,
You could ask your email readership to share your book launch video on their Facebook and other social media pages. You could also promote the book by e-letter to counselling and psychiatric associations and healing arts practitioners. You could connect with Freeman Michaels of the internet radio show Cutting Edge Consciousness (http://www.cuttingedgeconsciousness.com/) about doing an interview. You could also connect with Anne Berube of Autopoetic Ideas, a company that has brought people such as Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra and Gregg Braden to speak throughout the Atlantic region (http://www.ideasfestival.ca/3/contactus.htm).
Best of luck with the new book. I’m looking forward to reading it.

    Hi Elisha,
Love your open heart! I’ve read the recommendations and I think it’s a very valuable book! I’ve got the following question: it looks like it’s written for people who struggles with depression. Which value has the book for people without depression??
    Warmly and good luck!!!

      Hi Marieke,
Yes, the intention is to help people cultivate a natural anti-depressant brain based on my personal experience, working with hundreds of people and the research that’s out there. An anti-depressant brain is a resilient brain. The tenets in this book can truly help anyone cultivate a more enduring happier life in the way the Greeks meant it. That Eudaimonic well-being.

      Here’s what Dan Siegel wrote:

“If you want to flourish instead of feeling anxious, empty or down in the dumps, Uncovering Happiness offers the practical science-based tools to create a new life of meaning, connection and well-being. In this fabulous resource filled with helpful insights, Elisha Goldstein paves the way to easily understand the core components of happiness and shows how to take the steps to weave them into a rewarding tapestry of a new way of living fully.”
